ชาว LGBTQ+ เตรียมเฮ! งาน Gayming Awards 2024 ได้มีการเคาะกำหนดการจัดงาน เป็นวันที่ 26 มิถุนายน เวลา 01.00 น. เป็นต้นไป ตามเวลาไทย โดยภายในงานนี้จะมีการมอบรางวัลให้กับเกมที่มีคอนเทนต์เกี่ยวกับ ‘ความหลากหลายทางเพศ’ รวมถึงครีเอเตอร์ในวงการ เพื่อเป็นการเฉลิมฉลอง Pride Month ประจำปีนี้ด้วย!

ภายในงาน จะมีการนำเสนอเกมในธีม LGBTQ+ ที่ดีที่สุดตั้งแต่ปี 2023 จนถึงปีนี้ รวมถึงจะมีการมอบรางวัลพิเศษให้กับ เจเรมี ครอว์ฟอร์ด (Jeremy Crawford) หัวหน้านักออกแบบบอร์ดเกม Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition โดยเขาเป็นผู้ผลักดันให้สตรีมเมอร์ LGBTQ+ 5 คน ได้ขึ้นรับรางวัลดาวสตรีมเมอร์หน้าใหม่!

หนึ่งในเกมที่เรียกว่า ‘นอนมารับรางวัล’ ในงานนี้ ก็คือเกม Baldur’s Gate 3 ที่เพิ่งจะคว้ารางวัลใหญ่ในเวทีเกมอื่น ๆ มาก่อนหน้านี้แล้ว นอกจากนี้ ก็ยังมีเกม FINAL FANTASY XVI, Thirsty Suitors และ Stray Gods ที่ได้มาร่วมรับรางวัลอีกด้วย!
